Method
- Heat the oven with a short-walled cast iron pan to 400 degrees F.
- Layer the milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a blender. Mix on high until it has doubled in size.
- With an oven mitt, remove the hot cast iron pan and melt the 2 tbsp of butter and coat the bottom of the pan. Pour the Dutch baby batter into the pan and return to the oven.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and enjoy with your favorite toppings! *some sinking of the Dutch baby is normal
